Our aim is to bring the Attraction of Hamburg even closer to you and there could not be a better way to enjoy the skyline and experience Hamburg from a birds eye view, as a relaxing gentle float in the morning sky. Your stay in town may be only a short time, we considered that. Your Balloon flight will start just after sunrise. If the weather in Hamburg is good, all you have to do is get up just a little earlier, thus not affecting your other plans for the day. The lost sleep you can catch up with, once you returned home. It is worth it!
launchsites
Be sure to have a map handy or ask your hotel reception for the way, as our launch sites are dependent on wind direction and will vary, We have to take instructions from the Airport on this one. We launch from:
- Moorweide, opposite the Dammtorbahnhof
- Volkspark, corner Sylvesteralle and Hellgrundweg
- Sonninstraße, corner Nordkanalstraße
- Harkortstraße, No. 209
- Steinwerder, Am Fährkanal, next to the Theatre “Lion King”
- Glider Airstrip Boberg, Weidemoor
- Farmsen, An der Berner Au
- Niendorf, Hainholz
booking
Please click on our “booking” page. You will now see a questionnaire. When completing the questionnaire, please do not forget the information on age and weight. This is very important for our flightplan. Also very important, the contact telephone number – in case of changes. Initially, we will confirm your booking via mail.
launch conditions
We will launch when we have 6 bookings for the morning and of course the weather is on our side. We do not want rain, moderate wind is what we like. With less than 5km visibility we will not take off. Your own condition for your flight is to feel fit. Your clothing should be as if you are taking a walk on that day. Solid shoes are necessary.
terms
For exact flight information, launchsite and time, we will contact you, the evening prior to your flight, at your contact number, by 11pm. If you are unable to reach the launchsite by yourself, we will be happy to arrange a pick up from the Main Train station Hauptbahnhof exit Kirchenallee. On arrival at the launchsite, we will put the balloon together, with your help, and off we fly to an amazing experience. We will be in the air approx. 1 hour. After the landing, all we be packed away and then we follow with the traditional landing ceremony, before we take you back to the launchsite or drop you off at a nearby train station.
costs
The flight costs are per Person € 184,- all inclusive. Payment is due after the flight to the pilot in cash.
cancellation
You can cancel your flight till 3pm the day before your appointment. Thereafter a cancellation is not possible. Should you not turn up at the arranged time, we will charge you the cost of the flight.
